Learn to make Île flottante
in time for Valentine's Day

Chef George Bishouty will teach us how to make Îles flottantes, a delicious dessert for Valentine's Day on zoom. What are Îles flottantes? To put it simply, an île flottante or floating island is a dessert consisting of meringue floating on crème anglaise. Can you say 'Impressive'?
This presentation is in French and George is happy to clarify anything in English if needed.
An ingredient list will be sent in advance if you would like to cook in your kitchen 'alongside' George. You can also sip on a glass of wine and take notes for your future treat.
George Bishouty is a Culinary Institute of America graduate with experience ranging from executive sous chef at various hotel locations throughout the USA, pastry chef for Cafe in the Square in Snyder, and instructor of special classes for Tops international, His experience also includes work as a Pastry Chef at La Fromagerie in Red Bank, NJ.
