Community Outreach
L'Alliance Française de Buffalo encourages the learning of the French Language through three different programs, two sponsored programs, Certificate of Excellence, and Excellence Award, and a Scholarship.
- a Certificate of Excellence offered to the best student of French in each high school in the Western New York Region
- the Excellence Award offered to the three best high school students of French in the Western New York Region.
- the AFB Scholarship offering a trip to France for one month to the best high school student of French in the Western New York Region.
Le Concours National de Français qui jusqu'à présent avait été organisé par la Délégation de l'Alliance Française aux Etats-Unis et géré localement par l'Alliance Française de Buffalo, n'existe plus. En effet, en 2007, le Concours National de Français a été remplacé par le Prix de l'Alliance, que la Délégation de l'Alliance Française offre dorénavant aux lauréats du Grand Concours de l'American Association of French Teachers (AATF).
